Economics is the study of human reaction to scarcity, supply and demand, growth and development, international trade, and market failure. IB Global is the study of Wars and Conflicts, Revolution and the rise of Totalitarian States, the Collapse of Communism and the Rise of China.
My educational philosophy is based on teaching critical thinking and writing skills to prepare students for college and the IB exams. Lessons are professionally crafted to integrate technology, thematic learning and personal responsibility within the IB learner profile.
I earned my undergraduate degrees in Economics, International Relations and Political Science at the UW-Madison, then my Master’s Degree in Political Science and later my teaching certification and History minor at UW-Milwaukee. I am a National Board Certified Teacher and am currently serving as Social Sciences Leader and on the school learning team. |
