My name is Deminica Carson and I teach 9th grade Pre-Diploma American Authors and 10th grade Literary Studies 2. I received my bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University. My strong connection with my students, my dedication and my character are just a few of the attributes that make me an effective teacher. My genuine enthusiasm for literature allows me to instill a love of literature in my students. I do this by making all types of literature relatable and accessible to all students. I encourage students to make a real world connection with what they are reading. |
