Mr. Gregg Willis will be starting his fourth year in administration at Rufus King High School. Prior to this, he underfilled as assistant principal at Audubon Middle School, Rufus King, Milwaukee High School of the Arts and Roosevelt Middle School of the Arts, where he previously taught dance and English for 11 years. During his time at Rufus King, he has assumed responsibility over scheduling classes, using the International Baccalaureate program as a guide to ensure its strength and pervasiveness in the greater context of the school.

Mr. Willis started his college career in Dance department at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, later dancing professionally with Atlanta Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet Company, Melody Top Theatre and Milwaukee Dance Theatre. After he retired from performing, Mr. Willis completed his Bachelor's degree at UWM with a double-major in education and dance. He subsequently earned Master's degrees in dance from UWM, and educational leadership from Cardinal Stritch University.

Mr. Willis lives by the quotation, "Leadership is an opportunity to serve. It is not a trumpet to self-importance."
